Dr. Moncef Bourouga holds a doctorate in water sciences from Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba, where he has been a faculty researcher since 2023. He earned his PhD in 2019. An engineer specialized in water treatment, he has significant experience in the steel industry, where he served as Process Department Manager and was responsible for water treatment plants as well as process management in compliance with ISO 9001 standards (2008 and 2015 versions). He later managed quality management according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard in SIDER El Hadjar. Dr. Bourouga’s main research areas include hydrogeology, water treatment. He actively contributes to research and education in these fields at his university. He is a member of the Water Resources and Sustainable Development Laboratory and also part of the steering committee for the Quality Management System at Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba.
