Dahak Asma is currently an Associate Professor (Full time) within the Department of Hydraulics at Badji Mokhtar-Annaba University, Algeria. She has a Ph.D. in Hydraulics from the same University, and has collaborates with Sharjah research institution, in UAE to the field of hydrological modeling, from a research internship of 7 months, from (06 December, 2019 to 06 July, 2020) which provides access to specialized equipment and ressources, as well as exposure to different methodologies. Asma authored 07 publications, and despite been a young researcher, she has already supervised and examined many master's and phd students, demonstrating her commitment to mentorship and education. Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics, with a primary focus on flood risk assessment, drought prediction and management, and hydrological modeling in agriculture. In addition, she has a keen interest in leveraging artificial intelligence techniques, including machine and deep learning, to advance her research. Furthermore, Asma's work extends to the practical applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
