Abdellaziz Doghmane received the M.Sc. (1982) and Ph.D. (1985) degrees in Physics from Dundee University, Scotland, U.K. He joined, in 1986, Annaba University (Algeria) where he was promoted to full Professor in 1993; he is a Research Director and Responsible of Post-Graduate studies in semiconductors and applications. His early research focused on amorphous silicon and its applications to microelectronic devices. His large fields of research activities include: nondestructive evaluation, semiconductors, acoustic microscopy, ultrasonics, nanophysics. He is the author and/or co-author of more than 200 international scientific contributions (papers & communications). He also serves as a scientific expert and counselor in most national scientific committees and agencies as well as head of international and national research programs. He occupied several responsibilities: President of Skikda University, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Vice-Rector of international relations, Director of Laboratoty, invited Professor, etc.
