Prof. Ghaouar Nesrine is a lecturer at the department of Letters and the English Language- Badji Mokhtar University-Annaba. Her magister was on “Promoting Learner Autonomy at the University Level: The Case of First Year Students in the Arabic Department” (2007). Her doctorate was on” The Effect of Reflective Teaching and Learning Practice on Learners’ Proficiency Development: An Experimental Study” (2014). She is a membre in LIPED (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Pédagogie et de Didactique) from 2013. She was the head of the PRFU entitled” Investigating the use of ICTs in Reading and Writing Skills: EFL Teachers’ and Students’ Perspectives” (2018). She organized a study day on” Final term dissertation writing” (December 2021) and a national conference on “Reading and Writing with ICTs: Teacher’s and Learners’ Perceptions » (March 2022). She taught different modules during the classical and the LMD system at the licence and the master levels such as didactics, linguistics, TEFL, study skills, grammar, written expression and oral. Her research covers learner autonomy, reflective learning, reflective teaching, critical thinking and Metacognitive learning strategies. She participated in different national and international conferences and wrote a number of articles.
