Professor Dr. Oualid Hamdaoui received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of Savoie, France, in 2004. He is a Professor at Department of Process Engineering, Badji Mokhtar – Annaba University. His research interest is Advanced Oxidation and Separation Processes. He has successfully supervised to completion the work of 7 PhD, 10 Magister and 20 MSc. To date, he has over 60 peer-reviewed publications. Prof. Hamdaoui’s publications have been cited over 1,523 times (Scopus), with 2 having been cited more than 150 times each, and he has an author h-index of 23. Also recently, Science Direct reported that 3 of his articles were among the Top 25 Hottest Articles. Currently he serves as a reviewer for many international journals published by prestigious publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, American Chemical Society, Springer and Taylor & Francis. He has reviewed more than 100 manuscripts. In addition, he is Head of the Advanced Oxidation and Separation Processes Research Group and Responsible of the Master in Environmental Engineering. He is a recipient of Thomson Reuters Award in Engineering (2013), Scopus Award (Elsevier) in Chemical Engineering (2012), Francophonie Award for young researchers, option Sciences and Medicine, 2010-2011 edition (2011), ranked first on the list of suitable candidates to the title of Professor of the twenty-sixth (26th) session of the National University Commission (Order No. 07 dated January 2, 2011), Abdul-Hameed Shoman Award for Young Arab Researchers in Engineering Sciences, Jordan (2009) and the best scientific publication award of The National Agency for the Development of Universitary Research (2008).
