Currently, I am a senior research in LESIMS Laboratory, leading four-year research projects (CNEPRU) approved and funded by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS). My principal research interests lie around the doping effect on different properties of materials (semiconductors, intermetallic alloys and nanomaterials). I am currently working with my PhD students on four (04) projects: • Prediction of a flexible anode materials for high-performance Li/Na ion batteries: Graphene-like Borophene and phosphorous carbide monolayer (α-PC) • Effects of hydrogen/halogen –edge termination on structural, electronic, and optical properties of planar silicene nanoribbons SiNRs. • Study of Structural, elastic, electronic and optical properties of newly antiferroelectric KNaX (X= S, Se, and Te) compounds. • Effect of doped X-atom (X=H, F, Cl, Br and I) on structural, electronic and optical properties of germanene nanoribbons (GNRs). • Origin of ferromagnetism in Fe-doped Diluted Magnetic Semiconductor (DMS) (Ga,Fe)Sb. Simulation method: LCAO – TBTE – LMTO – FP/LAPW. Simulation Codes: VASP, ABINIT and WIEN2K.
