Kamel Khanchoul is working as a Professor in the Department of Geology at Badji Mokhtar University-Annaba, Algeria. He completed his PhD in 2006 on sediment transport modelling in Algerian watersheds. After his PhD, he was working with the Departments of Geology and Biology Sciences. At Annaba, he is teaching the subjects in geomorphology and GIS applications. He has also been actively involved with various researches on sustainability, sediment transport in rivers and modelling, soil erosion, statistical analysis of geospatial data for environmental studies, developing decision support tools and sediment load forecasting using artificial neural networks. He has authored and co-authored several international conferences and high quality journal papers.
