Born on 13th december 1959 at the wilaya of Mila, Algeria. Primary school at Zeraia primary school from 1965 to 1971. Then, passed to Middle School at Oued Endja (Redjas) from 1971 to 1975. I followed the secondary school studies at Didouche Morad, Mila, from 1975 to 1978, where I passed my Baccalauréat degree and went to the University of Constantine. There, I followed 5 years geological studies from 1978 to 1983 and graduated for the DES degree in mining geology. In 1983, I got a grant from the Algerian government to continue my post graduate studies abroad. I went to Great Britain where I passed one year studying English Language at Salford University (Manchester) then moved to Glasgow, where I met Prof. Bernard E. Leake who supervised my MSc thesis during my studies of the Caledonian granitoids (petrology, geochemistry and stable isotope studies). Other non official supervisors were Anthony Fallick and Adrian Boyce of the SUERC at East Kilbride, Glasgow. I got my M.Sc in 1987. I was then recruited at the University of Annaba, Algeria, since October 1989 until now. During this time I prepared my Doctorate thesis under the supervision of Prof. Aziouz Ouabadi (USTHB, Algiers) and Prof. Adrian Boyce and got the degree of Doctorat d'Etat in 2002. Since then, I have continued my research on geochemisty and stable isotopes on natural material (mining geology, magmatism, metamorphism and hydrogeology). Many Master and doctorate theses were carried out under my supervision at the University Badji Mokhtar Annaba.
