Dr. Mohamed Ilyas Rahal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics at the University of Badji Mokhtar Annaba. He obtained his Master’s degree in Automatic Control from the University of Tlemcen, Algeria, and his Ph.D. in Automatic Control from the University of Lille 1, France, under the supervision of Prof. Belkacem Ould Bouamama(https://scholar.google.fr/citations?user=1TlBfG8AAAAJ&hl=fr) within the MOCIS team of the CRISTAL UMR 9189 CNRS laboratory (https://www.cristal.univ-lille.fr/). He is currently a member of the Laboratory of Automation and Signals of Annaba (LASA: https://factec.univ-annaba.dz/laboratoire-dautomatique-et-signaux-dannaba-lasa/). His research interests include system modeling, advanced control techniques, and fault diagnosis and prognosis for continuous and hybrid systems.
