Fella Benabed is a Full Professor at the English department of Badji Mokhtar - Annaba University. She is a US Department of State alumna: she took part in the Study of the United States Institute on Contemporary American Literature, University of Louisville, Kentucky, in 2011, and she was a Fulbright visiting scholar at Columbia University in the city of New York in 2021. In her research, she is interested in the postcolonial, narrative, medical, and ecological approaches to global Anglophone literature. She also holds a Cambridge Delta certification with expertise in medical English and blended learning. In parallel, she is interested in educational technologies as necessary tools for 21st-century teachers; she obtained the UTICEF Master's degree (Utilisation des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication dans l’Enseignement et la Formation) from Strasbourg University in 2010. Her interdisciplinary research activities, projects, conferences, and publications are on both literature and educational technologies.
