Résumé: Wireless body area networks (WBANs) is now a well-accepted technology that provides not only efficient and remote health-care services but also targets the integration of future multimedia applications, in which high data rate is compulsory. UWB communication is one of the key solutions that afford such rates, and its extended version, multiband OFDM (MB-OFDM) has recently shown its efficiency with WBANs. However, increasing the data rates may come at the expense of the data reliability which is a critical issue in biomedical applications. Cooperative diversity has proven its ability in offering such robustness to channel errors while avoiding to use multiple antennas. Indeed, a single antenna terminal is sufficient to achieve diversity benefits by sharing its physical resources with cooperating single antenna relays. Aiming at providing a viable compromise between the data rate and accuracy in low-profile UWB body networks, to incorporate a decode-and-forward-based cooperative architecture in MB-OFDM system by resorting to opportunistic relaying approach is proposed, which retains only the best on-body relay to forward the information to the destination, thereby significantly reducing the complexity.

Résumé: In this paper, we present a classification method of Multi-parametric flow cytometry (FC) data for phytoplankton species discrimination. The flow cytometry data is an invaluable mine of quantitative and qualitative information to conduct single cell analysis for biological cells. However, the new generation of FC allows us to measure more number of parameters and cells, the FC data analysis has become more complex and labor-intensive than it previously The data were treated by a proposed method: the decision tree. This method is developed to create a real-time processing system that can detect and count the cells of phytoplankton and accelerate the task of analyses and identification, this will help biologist to analyze simples in situ.

Résumé: In this paper, we present an implementation of an artificial neural network (ANN) for predicting blooms (coloured waters) of a species of toxic phytoplankton called Dinophysis acumunata that prevalent in coastal of Havre (France). A Multi-layer Perceptron (MLP) neural network is designed to predict the rate of algal cells concentration in a short time series. The processed data are extracted from analysis of average numerical values of physical and chemical parameters. The implementation of the designed neural network on FPGA (FPGA: Field Programmable Gate Array), a programmable circuit, help us to set up an automatic monitoring lagoon system.

Résumé: The resilient functions play important role in the construction of symmetric cryptosystem. In this paper the modified Siegenthaler's construction method is considered. This construction permitted to define many more resilient functions where the degree, algebraic immunity, resiliency and nonlinearity achieving are high. Thus, permits to build resilient functions achieving optimum trade-offs between resiliency order, algebraic degree and nonlinearity (that is, achieving Siegenthaler's and Sarkar, al.'s bounds). The paper is concluded by indicating generalization of our construction to plateaued functions.

Résumé: Résumé Dans le cadre de l’induction supervisée, Nous proposons une nouvelle forme de recherche de corrélation qui consiste à rechercher les corrélations linéaires entre les exemples des différentes classes qui existent “ Méthode de Recherche Mixte ”. Cette méthode d’apprentissage à partir d’exemples se situe à la jonction des méthodes statistiques et de celles basées sur des techniques d’Intelligence Artificielle. Notre modélisation se base sur la génération automatique de règles de classification. La méthode d’apprentissage proposée basée sur une recherche de corrélations linéaires entre les composantes des vecteurs d’apprentissage est multi-attributs.

Cette méthode consiste à déterminer les termes redondants (inclus) afin d’aboutir à une base irrédondante. Cette méthode est utilisée dans divers domaines d’automatisme pour la minimisation des coûts de réalisation des fonctions simultanées.

Résumé: This paper compares the bit error rate (BER) performance of two relaying architectures with UWB Body Network channels, namely the hybrid decode-amplify-and-forward (HDAF) and the decode-and-forward (DF) protocols. It is assumed that CM3 on-body channel model is used for the communication between the source and the relay, and off-body channel model referred as CM4 for the source-destination, and the relay-destination communications. The result shows the superiority of the proposed HDAF strategy in UWB body networks regardless of adopted modulation pattern and the SNR range.
