Présentation : Auteurs Ali Al-Dahoud, Mohamed Fezari, Abadi Wassila, Tahmer Al-Rawashdeh Date de publication 2016/6/27 Conférence International Conference on Dependability and Complex Systems Pages 1-11 Éditeur Springer, Cham Description In this paper, we present experimental results on using vowels and one syllable words (VOSW) to activate some input device such as the control of mouse pointer on the screen. This type of Human Computer Interface might be used by a category of disabled person such as upper arm and finger stroke. Our goal is to design a system for the control of mouse cursor based on voice input command, using the pronunciation of certain vowels and some syllable words which can be produced even by persons affected by chronic inflammation of the larynx and vocal fold nodules. Linear predictive coefficients (LPC) and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) with derivatives are selected as features. Multiclass SVM then Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) have been tested as classifiers for matching components (vowels and short words). Tests and results using different features were are presented on tables, then …
Thème : Remote monitoring system for solar power panels using intelligent sensors network
Présentation : Auteurs Ali Al-Dahoud, Mohamed Fezari, FatmaZohra Belhouchet, Thamer A Al-Rawashdeh Date de publication 2016/11/22 Conférence 2016 24th Telecommunications Forum (TELFOR) Pages 1-4 Éditeur IEEE Description Improving pre-installed monitoring system for a set of Photovoltaic (PV) panels, using wireless sensor network (WNS) with embedded fuzzy controller, is our contribution in this work in order to control and detect faults within solar panels that affect considerably the energy produced by the solar panels. The new solution is to integrate the detection and classification of faults within the sensors node. The proposed classifier based on Fuzzy logic controller is integrated within the Node. The WSN nodes are implemented with appropriate sensors for more often occurred faults on the solar power panels. A simulation has been done on nodes distribution and a study for the design of a node with appropriate sensors taking into account the priorities of the processing faults. The primary results of simulation are very encouraging in point of fast detection of faults with minimum computation and minimum data transmission.

In order to evaluate these features, the mean and standard deviation are calculated and presented. However, in our study we found the Intensity value to be 66.42, 76.58 and 71.96 for the healthy, COPD and Pneumonia patients respectively, The Jitter(s) values obtained for the healthy, COPD and Pneumonia patients as 101.03, 174.40 and 173.45 respectively. Thème : Failure detection on wireless sensor network based on comparative study
Présentation : Ali Al-Dahoud, Rayene Doghmane, Mohamed Fezari, Karima Boukari Date de publication 2017/10/27 Conférence 2017 International Conference on Recent Innovations in Signal processing and Embedded Systems (RISE) Pages 134-138 Éditeur IEEE Description In this paper, we present a comparative study on the main faults in a Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) system. The applications using this new technology have recently been increased due to its huge capacity to connect both the physical and the virtual worlds. WSNs allow assessing locations, which are technically hard to reach by robots or human. With Cloud computing added to the WSN, we expect to see a world covered with trillions of connected devices that sense and share data information with each other. However, many parts of the deployments experience high rates of failure due to node's damage, sensor's damage, RF communication and usually power failure. In this paper, we mentioned existing research works that deal with failure detection in the WSN. Eventually, we presented a comparative case-study of model-based approaches used for failure detection. We also mentioned popular simulation … Articles Google Scholar Failure detection on wireless sensor network based on comparative study A Al-Dahoud, R Doghmane, M Fezari, K Boukari - 2017 International Conference on Recent Innovations …, 2017

Thème : Water Quality Monitoring System Using WSN in Tanga Lake Auteurs Ali Al-Dahoud, Mohamed Fezari, Hanene Mehamdia
Présentation : Date de publication 2019/7/1 Conférence International Conference on Dependability and Complex Systems Pages 1-9 Éditeur Springer, Cham Description Continuous Lake water quality monitoring is an important tool to a different aspect which includes catchment management authorities, providing real-time data for environmental protection and tracking pollution sources in lakes around ANNABA reagent. In order to assist catchment managers to maintain the health of aquatic ecosystems taking into consideration a cost-effective water quality data collection a low-cost low power system is proposed. The proposed system is constituted by spreading the sensor nodes and the base station. The nodes and base stations are linked using WSN technology (e.g. Zigbee). Base stations will be connected to the Internet using the Ethernet shield. The results indicate that a reliable monitoring system can be designed with appropriate calibration of sensors; this will allow us to continue monitoring the quality of the water at higher spatial resolution. Thème : Viability-Based Guaranteed Safe Robot Navigation 2019
Présentation : MA Bouguerra, T Fraichard, M Fezari Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems 95 (2), 459-471 Guaranteeing safe, i.e. collision-free, motion for robotic systems is usually tackled in the Inevitable Collision State (ICS) framework. This paper explores the use of the more general Viability theory as an alternative when safe motion involves multiple motion constraints and not just collision avoidance. Central to Viability is the so-called viability kernel, i.e. the set of states of the robotic system for which there is at least one trajectory that satisfies the motion constraints forever. The paper presents an algorithm that computes off-line an approximation of the viability kernel that is both conservative and able to handle time-varying constraints such as moving obstacles. Then it demonstrates, for different robotic scenarios involving multiple motion constraints (collision avoidance, visibility, velocity), how to use the viability kernel computed off-line within an on-line reactive navigation scheme that can drive the robotic … Articles Google Scholar Viability-Based Guaranteed Safe Robot Navigation MA Bouguerra, T Fraichard, M Fezari - Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems, 2019 Autres articles Les 6 versions
